Project Summary

Problem
The pandemic affects everyone, but this case talks specially about smallholder farmers and this link in the food chain that lost sales, harvested products and in some cases don’t have access to a place, physical or digital, to sell their production

Ceasa Minas, the market center for farmers trade their harvest in Juiz de Fora and its region, have a limited space to offer but a lot of authority on the subject

Solution
Expand the limits of Ceasa Minas to Digital and redesign their website to be an online marketplace for smallholder farmers and a dashboard for buyers with product prices and market information

Learnings

This was a project that the most valuable outcome are the learnings, because was an exercise for an UX Bootcamp at HOW.
Well, at this project I could update my knowledge of design process and learn some new tools and tips about UX research and how I can improve this skill set. The mentors, the teachers and the class mates were very helpful and careful with the development of the project.
I could not test the prototype with farmers and the Ceasa people,  but this exercises and all that was done for the final result already make me very satisfied and trustful that is a good solution for that market.
Who knows if one day I back to this project and make it happen, following the next steps and delivering a great product. Meanwhile, I carry with me the good memories of this project
